Mental Math Work Stations
Extending Learning You Can Count On

Presenter
Debbie Diller

Debbie will help teachers set up and teach with math work stations that connect to whole group and small group instruction and tie to good math understanding for students. She will talk about practical suggestions for establishing, managing, and using math work stations in grades K-3 or grades 4-6. Debbie will also provide ideas to help organize math materials so teachers can use hands-on methods (with all those manipulatives) more effectively! An emphasis on academic vocabulary and increasing students' "math talk" will be discussed.
