Help Steer Your PD
Every year at MTS PD Day (formerly known as SAGE/SAG), we ask that attendees complete a survey in their morning session. This survey asks for feedback about the specific seminar that the attendee is in, but it also has areas where we learn more about what you want to see in the future!
Didn't fill out the survey? Let us know what you think! Contact Garry Strick!
The MATH JOURNAL
We know teachers don't always like having to miss a ton of school to attend professional development. Our solution: the MATH JOURNAL. A publication from M.A.M.T. which features articles, editorials, book reviews and lessons. So even if you can't get away from your classroom, you can take a couple of minutes to peruse the MATH JOURNAL.
The best part about the journal? It's FREE for all members of M.A.M.T. And it is distributed by e-mail so you don't need to worry about losing it among all the flyers you might get in the mail.
Do you have a great lesson, classroom idea, instruction strategy, or article that you want to contribute?

Still can't find what you are looking for in the way of professional development or support?
Have a group of people who have an idea they want to pursue but need funding?
GREAT! The executive is currently working toward creating an M.A.M.T. grant that you can apply for.
M.A.M.T. is a special area group that wants to work for you. As teachers, it is not always easy to find local professional development that fits your current needs. We endeavor to meet the needs of our membership by providing professional development throughout the school year, and even in the summer months. Beyond this we are here to support you in your classroom teaching, and help you connect with other mathematics teachers in the province of Manitoba.
